Community Impact
Haiti, First. Pèyi.
Chokopam exists to make Haiti the protagonist of the global cacao story. Every square sold sends value back to the soil.
Pillars
Our four impact pillars.
Economic empowerment
Above-market wages, pre-financed harvests, profit share.
Farmer partnerships
Long-term contracts, joint planning, shared margin.
Sustainability
Regenerative agronomy, soil restoration, agroforestry.
Community projects
Schools, clinics, infrastructure in our farming communities.
Policy
What 'Haiti First' means.
Sourcing, processing, hiring, marketing — at every junction, we ask: does this create more value on the island? If the answer is no, we change the plan. All beans are Haitian, roasting happens on the island, our creative team is based in Port-au-Prince, and 5% of net revenue returns to farming communities.
North Star
Where we are headed.
By 2035: a 300-farm partner network, a Haitian-owned roasting and packaging facility, and a globally recognized origin brand for Haitian cacao.
300 partner farms
Up from 42 today.
Haitian-owned manufacturing
100% on-island value capture.
$10M into community projects
Schools, clinics, infrastructure.
Carbon-negative supply chain
Via regenerative agroforestry.
Transparency
Audited, public, complete.
Every year we publish exactly what we paid, planted, and built.
